VEGASSSS BABYYYYY!

Road Trip Anyone?

My roommates and I impulsively decided to go to Vegas for the final WCC basketball tournament for BYU. (It wasn't that impulsive, but it was a few days before.) We drove up on Friday and got to watch three games while we were there before heading home on Sunday.

Vegas Tour Guide

I was the only one of my friends that had been to Vegas before (for a total of ~12 hours), so I was in charge of taking them around. I'll add some pictures of things we saw and did with captions for more details! We didn't have a ton of free time outside of the games, so we didn't do a ton but tried to get in the iconic Vegas spots.

THE MAIN EVENT (basketball of course!) We didn't arrive in time for the first women's game, but we watched it on the drive there while we ate some delicious Panda Express.

Although the ROC was relatively small, we were having a blast. The first game we went to was so hype. We were worried there for a minute, but happy for the comeback!

The second day in Vegas, we had two basketball games. Spoiler alert (if you didn't know yet you're not a real fan): we won both! They were super fun, super high energy games, and I'm so glad we were a part of them!

Frozen Tundra Awaits

We were not happy to go back to Provo, where it snowed over the weekend, but our tough classes were calling. It was hard to leave after the fun and stress-free weekend we had. But on a happy note, we ran into Dave McCann and Blaine Fowler at church, so that was dope!

Overall, great experience, and we wish we could've stayed longer. We're proud of the cougs even after the two losses on Monday and thankful to be part of a passionate student section that helped us get to the games in the first place. So long WCC...and a joyful welcome to the BIG XII!
